Changing laws and regulations place a real burden on HR teams. This 60-minute HR compliance tips webinar reviews significant changes for organizations in several areas: exempt and non-exempt salary thresholds, salary history bans, independent contractors, marijuana in the workplace and paid family leave.
For each topic, you'll look at how it affects your organization, how federal, state and local rules differ, and what it means for your policies, procedures and workplace communications.
The session also covers the importance of mistake-proof forms, common mistakes and how to correct them, the cost of getting it wrong, and upcoming or potential changes.
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?
When employment laws change, organizations must update policies, forms and communications, and mistakes can be costly. This session helps you understand what is expected and how to stay on top of federal, state and local requirements.
