This 6-hour Microsoft Power BI training takes beginners through the whole workflow, from raw data to a published dashboard. It is led by a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate with more than 20 years of teaching experience.
You'll start with what Power BI offers compared with Excel and tour a live dashboard in Desktop and online. Next you'll import and clean data from Excel, text and CSV files and folders with Power Query, merge queries, and build relationships in a data model.
Later modules cover hiding fields, simple DAX measures and calendar tables, then building reports with slicers, filters, bookmarks, buttons and common chart types before publishing and sharing in Power BI online.
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?
Power BI can feel overwhelming, and many people struggle to learn it from scattered sources. This boot camp breaks the tool into clear modules so beginners and those filling gaps can follow each step, with practical exercises along the way.
It suits data, BI, financial, healthcare and program analysts, project, marketing, sales, HR and operations managers, IT staff, educators and researchers. You'll need Power BI Desktop and a Power BI online subscription; trial versions work for the course.
