California employers face a steady stream of new legislation. This 60-minute California employment law webinar gives legal and practical guidance on a set of laws enacted for 2021, including those relating to COVID-19.
You'll review emergency COVID paid leave and paid sick leave rules at the federal, state and local level, reporting and notice duties when there is a workplace outbreak, and the steps to take when an employee is exposed or tests positive. The session also covers the extension of the California Family Rights Act to employers with five or more employees, minimum wage ordinances, minimum salary for exempt employees, independent contractor relationships, gender representation on boards and the duty to prevent and correct discrimination, harassment and retaliation.
