Stress affects colleagues, customers, managers, friends and family, and the work environment itself can add more through workload, bureaucracy and difficult people. Chronic stress contributes to many common causes of death. This 90-minute stress management training offers simple techniques to release stress and recharge.
You'll look at common stressors at work and home, assess your own, and see how stress affects health, productivity and longevity. The session explains the amygdala and "hijackings", how to manage them, and how to take a stress inventory.
You'll then build stress-relieving strategies, learn to harness stress for positive results, create a positive environment and adapt the Morita approach.
WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?
Irritability, lost focus, insomnia and impatience over small things are signs that stress is interfering with your life and work. The sooner you address it, the better.
